Each employee gets Good Dog in a Box™, a reward based dog training program that they’ll receive delivered to their home and their computer. Boxes include access to professional reward-based dog training tools and exercises in the box, additional training videos in an online account, and dog bite prevention training.
Pet owners answer online questions about how their dogs interact with people, places, and other dogs, which forms a detailed functional assessment. The test identifies problem areas for interaction in a pet-friendly world and workplace. Our system gives pet owners additional online training exercises to help address these issues, to make their dog more relaxed and safer to be around.
Testing for certification is completed annually by the pet owner to track any health or behavioral changes in their dog. This information can be easily shared with the dog’s caregivers and veterinarian to identify developing problems, as well as with your Dogs In The Workplace Program Manager, through the system’s portal. It also lets those who interact with the dog know what this individual likes and doesn’t like, to make life more relaxed and safer for everyone.
When a dog and its owner have become Dogs In The Workplace™ Certified, you have the piece of mind knowing that this dog is less likely to create a dangerous situation in the workplace.
Coming soon, when your employees become Dogs In The Workplace™ certified, your business will be eligible for discounted rates on your business liability and workman’s compensation insurance policies. We even have group pet health care plans available that you can offer to employees as a work benefit or as a policy they can purchase individually.
